Tips
The fastest way to start earning
A tip block takes money with nothing to package, price or deliver. Preset amounts plus a free-entry field, on your own page, paid into your own Stripe account. It works on the free plan, which makes it the first thing most creators should switch on.
Why presets matter
An empty amount field asks the visitor to decide what you are worth, which is an uncomfortable question and a common reason people close the tab. Three preset buttons answer it for them and turn the decision into a tap.
Keep the middle option the one you actually want. Most people take it.
- Preset amounts you choose
- Free-entry amount as well
- Your own heading and description
- Card payment in-page, no redirect
- PayPal as an alternative
- Works on Free, no product needed
Tips work on every plan. The platform fee is 5% on Free, falling to 0% on Agency and Enterprise, with Stripe's processing fee on top. See pricing.
Common questions
Do I need Stripe connected?
Yes — that is where the money lands. Setup is usually minutes.
Can I say what tips are for?
Yes, and you should. "Buy me a coffee" earns less than a sentence about what the money funds.
Is there a minimum?
Card processing has practical minimums, so very small tips lose most of their value to fees. Start your lowest preset around $3.
